Welcome to Crystal Dragon Rumblings. Here you will find information about crystals and how you can use
them in your everyday lives.
=============================================================================================================The articles will be a little different than what you are normally used to. I like to present my information as if I were in the room talking to you. So it may not be as technical or as structured as you would normally find. I have found that my students seem to retain what they have learned, when I use this approach, they say it makes the classes fun, and to be honest, I couldn't do it any other way, it's really just the way I am. I hope that you will enjoy my style and stay around with us for a while. The article I have written this month is sure to stir up some conversation amongst other crystal healers and users, I felt that it was something that I needed to share with others, so here I go again jumping in with both feet. I have no wish to upset anyone with this article, it is just about my own experiences when working with crystals. Guess What? You are going to get two articles from yours truly this month. I did have a article on self-help that I was going to add this month, but unfortunately the author has not gotten back to me with permission to re-print the article. DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT CRYSTAL?
NO WORRIES!!
We've all been in this situation. A client or friend comes to us and ask for a crystal for something we have absolutely
no idea about or just do not have the particular crystal on hand. You know what I mean, what to do about it. Hi I've just been diagnosed with Haemochromatosis. URGH!! We can't even pronounce it let alone know what it is. (It's an over abundance of iron in the blood). I am not making this up my niece came to me with just this condition. Imagine how I felt, she came to me for help and I had no idea where to start. I got out my Crystal Vibrations ailments book and there it was under Iron Over Abundance Well guess what? The crystal that I need was called Hubnerite. Great! like I had that in my store of crystals. No worries I think just call up my suppliers and get one sent up. Yeah right. Sorry they say we've heard of the crystal but don't have any, don't even remember ever having any. Thanks anyway. I decide to try a few others who have been lifesavers in the past when it comes to the supply of unusual crystals, no luck here either. It would appear that although just about everyone had heard of Hubnerite, no-one could recall every having any or even seeing any for that matter. I am beginning to think that it must be a very rare crystal indeed. Everyone was going to try to find a piece of the crystal but I was not going to hold my breath. Now my niece really need something to help her out. So what to do? I am a great believer in the fact that everything and everyone in the universe is connected to each other, so I thought about it for a while and decided that I would program another crystal to carry out the work of the Hubnerite. I know I can just hear you all saying, what is she on about, that won't work. Well like I said everything is connected, AND it works for me I have used this method on a number of occasions, usually for a temporary time until I have been able to locate the crystal that I need. It is really very simple when you think about it, all we are asking the crystal to do is to temporarily change its vibrations. I know that many will say that this is not possible and maybe for them it has not worked, but for me and my clients, all I can say is for us we have no doubts. I am not asking you to change your thinking or believe me unreservedly, just that you keep an open mind and if you ever find yourself in a position where you do not have the crystal you need, this might just be worth a try. Here are the steps if anyone is interested in trying it for themselves. I would normally use a quartz crystal for this sort of work, but I have used others depending on what messages I was getting (some people will probably say all the wrong ones, never mind always did look at thing from a slightly different angle.) Just take the crystal that you decide upon, sit down somewhere quite and breath gently allowing yourself to relax. Hold the crystal in your hands or place it in front of you which ever is more comfortable for you, concentrating on the crystal in front of you imagine the crystal that you need, see in your minds eye the crystal in front of you being transformed into that crystal . When you feel that the transformation is complete, either give it to the person or use it in their session, I always like to give it to them as the client often needs something to take with them. (Quartz is good here as it is not very expensive and you can afford to give it away.) Note that the crystal you use will not look any different than when you started, but I have found that I can feel a completely different vibration, the crystal has become a surrogate if you like and channels the energy of the absent crystal (and yes I know people will say that it's just my imagination and that's O.K. I can live with that, I know what has happened and that all that matters.) You may like to have a picture of the crystal that you need with you when you do this, please feel free to do so. I would loved to have had a picture of Hubnerite when I did this for my niece. I did find a picture on the internet, but me being me I forgot to bookmark the site and have been unable to find it since. You will notice that I said I only use this as a temporary measure, well with the Hubnerite, the surrogate crystal has been working for over twelve months, I am hoping to get a piece of Hubnerite very soon, as I am writing this one of my suppliers is in the United States at a crystal show and is hoping to find some for me. Please wish us luck with this. If you are wondering my niece's condition is stable at the moment, so let's hope it stays that way. If any of you try this I would love to hear your thoughts on how it went, and even if you do not try it I would still love to get some feedback on what people think about it. There can be a number of reasons an area needs to be cleansed, negative energy from the last tenants, leftover
energy from some past trauma, this may not have occurred in the actual building as it stands today, but could have happened
on the site on which it stands. Sometimes people just want an area cleansed so that they can start fresh.
Whatever the reason cleaning an area is becoming very popular, some people are even making a nice living going around and cleansing homes, offices, schools and any number of areas. People use many and varied methods to do this, I will tell you of the methods that I use they are simple and work very well for me. The method I favour most is very simple and can be done on your own or with a group, don't worry if you have a sceptic in the group it still works well, sometimes even better than you may think. If you are trying to remove a spirit from an environment and are a little edgy about what may happen, I suggest that you have someone with you just to make you feel more comfortable. Having said that the only thing that can harm you is your own mind, the spirit will not cause you any trouble or pain. That only happens in the movies, boy does Hollywood have a lot to answer for in this regard, still people do love to be scared out of their wits for some reason. I like to work with a Citrine cluster on most occassions,as it does not hold negative energy and transmutes it straight away, although I have used quartz and amethyst clusters, also single crystals of all varieties. I begin by walking through the area that is to be cleansed, if it is a room I will walk around the perimeter, if it is a house or complex of rooms I will walk around every room and decide where I will do the cleansing from. Once this decision is made, I then either open a window or a door that leads to the outside, If you are working in an office building or complex where you can't open a window or door do not worry, it will still work o.k. If you have no open window or door then sit on the floor in front of a window, I like to see outside, but it is not a requirement to perform a cleansing just a preference, hold your chosen crystal in your hands and relax, concentrate on the reason for being there and call all the negative energy to the crystal as the energy enters the crystal ask the crystal to send the negativity out through the open door or window and up to the light (if closed just send the energy outside and into the light. You may notice the energy being drawn into the crystal, sometimes it can feel like a persons breath on the back of your neck, or on the side of your face, you may feel a slight vibration in the crystal while holding it, just keep relaxing and let the energy flow. When you feel that you need to stop do so, even if it seems like a small amount of time has passed, don't worry the job will be done. Again if you feel nothing that fine, just follow your instincts. I like to thank the crystal for its assistance. I place the crystal aside and light up an incense stick, there is no particular one that I use just whatever seems to be right, you can ask the owner if they have a preference in this area. Just walk around the area that has been cleansed and wave the incense stick around a few times ( a smudge stick can be used if you prefer.) The area has now been cleansed. I find that once is sufficient, but others have said that they have needed to go back a second time to complete the cleansing, again go with what you feel is right, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to using crystals in this way. If you are going to have others sit in on the cleansing, then have them side in a semi-circle around you facing the window or door and have them holding a piece of quartz crystal (don't ask me why but quartz seems to be the crystal that I always get a message to use, and who am I to argue with a higher knowledge.) Get them to relax and concentrate on the reason they are here, instead of having them send the energy out of the window or door, get them to direct it to the crystal that you are holding. When you have finished with the cleansing, cleanse the crystal by passing it through the incense smoke and clean later in your preferred manner. If using Citrine there is no need to clean the crystal but you can if you wish to. I like to use Citrine as it does not hold any negative energy and releases the energy immediately upon receiving it. Again that's just how I like to do things. If you would like to try this but are unsure, try it on an area in your own home and see what happens and how it feels. I have done a number of cleansings and find that the energy that is in the area after is usually very peaceful and calm. I will write another article on the other methods that I use at a later date. Q. Do Crystals and Reiki work together?
=============================================================================================================A. Crystals are being used in Reiki sessions more and more these days. I always use crystals when doing Reiki, I find that they add another avenue for healing. You can find a chakra layout that I use when doing a general Reiki on the website at Chakra Layout I also use crystals in my Reiki grid and I will be placing an article on this subject on the website very soon. Crystals and Reiki compliment each other very well. Q. How much does the quality and size of the crystal affect the healing ability of the crystal A. I do not believe they have anything to do with the healing ability, it is the structure and vibration of the crystal that does the work. Many people like stones that are polished and have a nice look about them, this is more about how we perceive things than about how the crystal works. I personally prefer unpolished crystals, I find a great beauty in the natural stones, but again this is just a preference and has no bearing on the healing abilities of the crystal. I have some crystals that people have said to me are downright ugly and that they would throw away, again thats their opinion and preference. Just go with the crystal that feels right for what you need at the time and do not worry about size, shape or colour. Sponsor #3
