CRYSTAL HEALING VIBRATIONS PRESENTS WHERE I LIVE
Don't forget to use the comments box at the bottom of the page.
Hi and welcome back to Where I Live.
It's been a while since I updated this page. I have been busy working on a lot of other things and this is the area that I seem to
neglect in these times. There have been lots of things happening in and around Ballarat over the last few months. We have had the
National Road Cycling Races here for one thing. And the Commonwealth Games were a great success, everyone got very patriotic while they were
on, I don't think I have ever seen that much green and gold around Ballarat at one time.
But the main talking point is the drought, it has been 10 years since we have seen decent
rains in the area and the water situation is looking bad. We can no longer water our lawns and now the washing of cars is banned except
in commercial car washes. The Bush Fire Danger is even worse than last year, we normally go on alert around the end of Novermber, but
have been on altert since the beginning of October nearly two months early. We have already had some bad fires and if you remember the
fires I featured on this site in March of this year, you will understand why we are very concerned about the big dry.
I have included some before and after photos of Lake Wendouree. It is not as bad as it has been but then other lakes in the district have
completely dried up. When you look at the photos notice how blue they sky is in the July shots and this is the depth of our winter, it
is usually bleak and dark at this time of year. They are even talking about using recycled sewerage in the future for drinking. The State
Government is comming up with all sorts of ideas to help the problem, some seem ridicules others just impractical.
I have and update on the Giant Redwood crisis, if you do not know what is happening with these beautiful trees that reside in our
Botanic Gardens then you can catch up with how I am using Crystals to help Heal the trees in the Crystal Healing blog (on nav bar).
In the pictures on this page you will notice that there are little piles of red amongst the black poly water pipes which are being
laid to drip feed the Giant Redwoods. These little piles are scoria and it is placed in bore holes, the scoria holds water very well and
releases it slowly, so this will help give the trees a continuous supply of water while the drought persists. You will see how the
gardeners have mulched around the trees after the pipes and scoria works are completed, the ground level around the trees has been raised
a lot with the mulch this also holds moisture in the ground helping to prevent evaporation. I have to say that they Botanical Gardens
staff are doing everything in their power to save these magnificant trees.
I have been charging the crystals that I left in the wishing well as often as I can and am sending Distant Reiki healing to the trees as
well. The last time I was up at the gardens, I check out the trees and I got a good feeling they felt a lot better this time around and
I will keep using the crystals to help them while they need it.
That's all for now, I will keep you posted on the Giant Redwoods Progress, but check out the Crystal Healing Blog from time to time
sometimes it is easier to put up a quick message there, than write a whole webpage.
Pictures below!!!
May your journey be full of love and
happiness. Colleen
